TWISTER!!!

Here's Emma helping me with eggs. Notice, there is egg everywhere except in the bowl! It's on her hands, counter, toes, and floor. So, I cracked the rest of the eggs for the cupcakes...Emma decided that we needed to make cupcakes, because it is "getting close to her birthday." Hardly! But, we made some anyway!

We had a little dust devil twister come through our yard a couple of days ago. It was breezy, and I was outside by the well, getting ready to water. All of a sudden a large wind came up from behind me, and when I turned to look, I could see this twister (dirt & debris getting pulled upward) coming toward me...it turned and circled around toward the garage. It sent a large box airborne and some scrap metal was lifted up and thrown. Then it moved around to the back of the garage and behind the house, where all it lifted was more dirt... All I could do was stand there with my mouth gaping! And then it was gone. And the wind stopped. It was SO BIZARRE!

I've seen those kind of dust devils out in crop fields before, but I've never been caught in the middle of one! I'm a little shocked at how powerful it was!

Jim blasted another rocket today. We haven't found it yet!
