We survived the 2 day drive from California to Washington with 2 cars, 2 parents, 4 kids and 2 guinea pigs! Yay!
March and April of 2007 was such a busy time for us! It’s hard to believe that this snow picture (above) was taken a little more than a month ago...it feels like much longer!
Jim interviewed for a job in Washington after this group picture was taken, and later was offered the position as safety coordinator of the hydro-electric operations at Wanapum Dam. So the whirlwind started shortly after that! Jim started working the day after Easter while the rest of us in California worked to get the house on the market.
Now at the end of April, the whole family is together up in Washington. We’re looking forward to new adventures and to learning more about the area up here.
Above is a group picture of Jimmy and Bowen with Bowen's preschool class. That was his last day of school in California. The boys sure had a great time with the other kids and the teachers.
Also above is the picture of the kids playing in the dirt here, and also some of the kids looking out at Tyee mountain. Yesterday it was quite warm (in the 70's) and we all got a little sun, but this morning we woke to rain! What a surprise. And some more snow on Tyee!
I hope this blog helps us all to stay in touch. Internet brings the world closer!
